Valerie Schiller is a labor leader who listens, is not afraid to fight and stand up for all educators, pushes her chair to the table if she has to and will do the same for you. Your union, your voice.

As a Language Arts and Social Studies teacher, she juggles multiple teaching preps over multiple subjects at Reynolds High School in East Multnomah County, coaches students an average of 30 hours per week--including weekends--in Speech and Debate, mediates conflicts for educators around the state, advises in county government, and still has time to speak up within her local, state, and national union.
